Abdullah ibn Haarith (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I did not see anyone who smiled more than the Messenger of Allah (pbuh).”
Smiling is the easiest charity we can give. It's a strange idea to wrap our heads around sometimes, because we often think that charity can only be given by those with a surplus of wealth. And Lord knows that as university students we are generally not among that group. But it takes a kind and generous heart to smile and maintain a pleasant demeanor. By smiling, you are giving a piece of your good character away for the benefit of others happiness. Subhanallah, even under financial burden, we are still given the opportunity to give charity.
Why so serious? Smile, it's sunnah :)
When we want to call out to Allah, He brings us so near to Him to fulfill our requests. One of the most beautiful verses of the Qur'an explained by Nouman Ali Khan.
Narrated Sahel Ibn Sa'ad (RA): that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Two will not be rejected, Supplication when the Adhan (call of prayer) is being called, and at the time of the rain'. [Al-Hakim 2: 114, and Abu Dawud #2540, ibn Majah]
“Woman was created from the rib of man, She was not made from his head to top him Nor of his feet, to be trampled upon But pit of his side, to be equal to him Under his arm, to be protected And near his heart, to be loved.”
It's also interesting how it's a full circle since the first woman was created from a man and in this life it is women who bear children. The first woman was created from near the heart of a man and then she is bestowed with the ability to carry another heart within her.
"Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his body." (33:4)
But he has made it possible for a woman to carry two hearts in her body through pregnacy.

"God does not burden a soul more than it can bear." (2:286)
"He has succeeded who purifies it (the soul), And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]." (91:9-10)
Let your hardship be a means of growing, purifying and beautifying yourself.

The hardships that we face in life are a chance for us to strengthen our faith, it's a chance for us to get closer to Allah so we can reach a stage of contentment Inshallah. #100daysofdeen #Day47 #pittmsa
